To all those veteran MadHatters,

I want to be the first to welcome you to the new and improved HaveATulip.Com. There are a lot more features that we've added to revamp HAT and I sincerely hope you appreciate and enjoy them. You will now have access to your very own HAT profile, where you can add photos. You'll also have access to a new and improved chat room and forums. You can even IM or send mail to your HAT friends, right from our website!

Of course we are still working on making sure we fix all of the bugs, and by God's grace we will accomplish this soon; however, we think the site's basic functions are operational enough to open the site. So here are a few answers to questions you may have. 

Q1: I already have an account with HAT, do I need to reregister?

A2: The simple answer is yes. Unfortunately, moving our old database over to our new site would not have brought with it all the necessary information we need for this site such as your old passwords. We've added new fields to our registration page that you must answer. This reregistration will also help prune the inactive members who no longer wish to participate with HAT.

Q2:Once I submit my application, how long will it take to approve me?

A3: We put a maximum time line of 24 hours for you to hear back from us, however this time is usually much shorter.

Q3: How do I add photos to my profile?

Q4: You must click on the photo box in your profile, then browse for a photo from you computer. Add a title in the text box above it and then click submit. You can make this picture your primary photo, or add more and choose from them. You are only allowed to upload 10 photos maximum to your profile photo gallery.

Q3: What is "My Presence"?

A3: "My Presence is an Instant Messenger (IM) application, that lets you see who is online, and gives you the ability to IM them.

Q4: How do I add a friend?

A4: To add a friend you must go to the profile of the person you with to add, and click on the Befriend link located at the bottom left hand corner of their profile.

Q5: Will the room still be open on Saturdays to non-members?

A5: We are still working on this. We would definitely like to continue this service to non-members via Pastor Gene Cook Jr. and Rev. Jonathan Goundry's radio broadcast The Narrow Mind. But currently the chat room will only be open to those who are registered members.

There are still bugs that need to be worked out, but we believe the basic site functions are operational enough to allow registered members to participate. We will put up a FAQ section page once more questions and feedback pour in. Until then, feel free to explore, and enjoy the site!
